The Tooth Fairy Fund was created through the generosity of our community, with one mission: to ensure that no pet has to live in pain because their family cannot afford dental care. Oral health is essential to a pet’s overall wellbeing, yet many pets suffer silently from painful dental disease when treatment isn’t financially possible. In fact, 85% of pets over the age of 3 have some level of dental disease, yet only 14% are receiving the care they need.
We are proud to provide this resource that helps the cats and dogs of our community live healthier, more comfortable lives. The fund has already made a difference for countless animals — including working dogs such as police K9s — and continues to support pets suffering from severe oral pain.
Mainely Veterinary Dentistry’s mission is to improve and maintain the overall health and wellbeing of pets, and to strengthen the human-animal bond by addressing oral health in cats and dogs.
