Veterinary urgent care is designed for illnesses and injuries that need prompt attention but are not immediately life-threatening. We treat conditions that cannot wait for your regular veterinarian but do not require a 24-hour emergency hospital.

We commonly treat:

• Limping or sudden pain
• Minor wounds and lacerations
• Allergic reactions
• Porcupine quills
• Urinary issues
• Eye problems
• Ear infections
• Skin infections
• Coughing or mild respiratory concerns
• Dental pain or broken teeth
• “Not acting right” or sudden behavior changes

Seek immediate emergency care if your pet is experiencing:

• Difficulty breathing
• Collapse or unresponsiveness
• Continuous seizures
• Severe trauma (hit by car, major bleeding)
• Severe abdominal bloating
• Uncontrolled bleeding

If your pet is unstable or critically ill, a 24-hour emergency facility is best equipped to provide advanced life-saving care.

We are open Friday- Sunday 10 am – 7 pm.

Yes, please book an appointment through our online booking platform. Patients are entered into an online waiting room so that you can head to the clinic when we are ready for you.

Please bring:

• Any current medications
• A list of symptoms and when they started
• Your pet’s medical records (if available)
• Information about possible toxin exposure, trauma, or diet changes

If your pet sees another veterinarian, providing records helps ensure safe and coordinated care.

Visit length depends on your pet’s condition and the number of patients being treated. Most visits include:

• A full physical exam
• Diagnostic recommendations (if needed)
• A treatment plan discussion

More complex cases requiring diagnostics (bloodwork, X-rays, wound repair, etc.) will take longer.

Our urgent care facilities provide:

• In-house bloodwork
• Digital X-rays
• Urinalysis
• Cytology (ear, skin, or mass evaluation)
• Ultrasound
• Cone Beam CT for any head abnormalities

If advanced imaging, surgery, or hospitalization is required, referral may be recommended.

Yes. After your visit, a medical record summary can be sent to your primary care veterinarian to ensure continuity of care.

The consultation fee is $135. Other costs vary depending on the exam, diagnostics, and treatments required. An estimate will be provided before proceeding with recommended care whenever possible.

We do not offer overnight care. If your pet requires continuous monitoring or intensive care, referral to an emergency hospital will be recommended.

If your pet worsens after your visit:

• Contact the urgent care facility if open.
• If closed, proceed to the nearest 24-hour emergency hospital.

Always seek immediate care if your pet develops severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing, collapse, or uncontrolled bleeding.

Yes, we are especially equiped to treat dental emergencies as we are a dental practice Monday-Thursday. Complete treatment may need to be delayed until the weekday but our weekend doctors will prescribe the best treatments to ensure your pet’s stays comfortable.

If your pet is uncomfortable, painful, suddenly ill, or showing unusual behavior, it’s better to have them evaluated. Early treatment often prevents more serious complications.
