Dr. Rebecca French and Lucy Hagmaier, LVT, join the team, bringing additional experience and support to specialty dentistry and urgent care services.
Mainely Veterinary Dentistry & Urgent Care has announced that Dr. Rebecca French and Lucy Hagmaier, LVT, have joined the practice, further strengthening the specialty practice’s commitment to providing exceptional veterinary dental care for pets throughout Maine and New England.

They are both very dedicated to patient care, and have a lot of experience and most importantly a genuine passion for veterinary dentistry. Dr. Rebecca French is originally from Topsham, Maine and recently joined the dentistry team after graduating from Long Island University. She also has experience as an undergraduate at the University of Maine where she studied animal and veterinary sciences.
In addition to working with cats and dogs, she has worked with large animals on J.F. Witter Farm and with animal hospitals. She has also spent time on several research projects and developed her biomedical microscopy skills.
Dr. French will be part of the dentistry team and join the urgent care staff two days a week as Mainely Veterinary Dentistry & Urgent Care continues to serve the community with a wide range of services.

Lucy Hagmaier recently joined the dentistry team and brings nine years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, along with a passion for helping pets live healthier, happier lives through advanced dental care.
As a dentistry technician, Hagmaier assists with specialized dental procedures, anesthesia monitoring, patient care, and client education.
Hagmaier earned her degree in Applied Animal Science from Vermont Technical College and has maintained her Licensed Veterinary Technician credential for the past nine years. She says her greatest professional accomplishment is continuing to grow within the veterinary profession while remaining committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Everyone here shares the same goal: to take the best care of our patients and help them be as healthy as possible.
